• Dish suggestions based on customer preferences, dietary restrictions, time of day, and historical data
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technology for menu matching using semantic search
• Customizable chatbot personality with configurable tone and formality levels
• Multi-language support with automatic language detection

• Daily and hourly recommendation session tracking
• Dish performance metrics (recommendation counts, feedback, conversion tracking)
• Anonymous customer feedback (positive/negative ratings)
• Menu section popularity and menu filter usage analysis
• Monthly insights including trending dishes, peak times, and optimization suggestions
• Time-based performance patterns by hour and day

• Menu database with dishes, categories, prices, and descriptions
• Ingredient and allergen tracking
• Nutritional values calculated from reference data (calories, protein, carbs, fat, weight) and nutrition label generation tools
• Dietary flags (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.)
• Spice level indicators
• Availability status management

• Custom restaurant logos with adjustable border radius and transparency
• Color scheme customization (chat, text, bubble, and background colors)
• Welcome message personalization
• Font selection
• Background image upload with overlay opacity control
• Restaurant landing page customization
• Header logo visibility toggle

• Embeddable chat widgets for your restaurant website
• API keys for secure integration
• Usage tracking per API key

• Team accounts with role-based access (member, admin)
• Invitation system for team members
• Support for multiple restaurant locations under one account
• Activity logging for security and audit purposes

• Diners may optionally create a TASTEEM guest profile with their dietary preferences and nutrition goals
• Saved preferences are used to personalize dish recommendations at restaurants that use TASTEEM
• Guest profiles are controlled by TASTEEM and are not shared with restaurants

You must:

• Provide accurate information including your name and a valid email address
• Use Google Sign-In or create a password-protected account
• Keep your account credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Not share your account with others or maintain multiple accounts without our permission

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must have legal authority to enter into this agreement
• You must operate a legitimate restaurant or food service business
• You must not be prohibited from using the Services under applicable law

• Team administrators are responsible for all activities under their account
• Administrators manage team member access and roles
• Each team member's actions are attributed to the team account
• Restaurant locations require accurate business information

We offer different plans with varying features:

• Token limits: monthly AI processing allowances
• Location limits: number of restaurants per team
• Analytics features: access to different reporting tools
• Analytics retention (plan-based): Starter Bite (30 days), Main Course (60 days), Chef's Special (120 days)
• Support levels: different response times

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• We store your Stripe Customer ID, Subscription ID, Product ID, plan name, and subscription status. We never store credit card details
• Failed payments may result in service suspension after notice

• AI recommendation generation consumes tokens
• Token usage is tracked daily per team and restaurant
• Exceeding plan limits may result in temporary restrictions
• Token records contain: date, team ID, restaurant ID, and total tokens

• Upgrade anytime with immediate effect and prorated billing
• Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle
• View your current usage in your dashboard

• Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period
• No refunds for partial periods, except as required by law or as stated in section 12
• Data export is available before and after cancellation

• New accounts may receive a [14]-day free trial. [A payment method is required to start the trial.]
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and your payment method is charged for the selected plan.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime in account settings or in the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

• We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' written notice by email or in-app notification.
• The new price applies from your next billing period after the notice period ends.
• If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.

• Prices are shown in [USD/EUR]. We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our invoices.
• If we become required to charge VAT or other taxes, we will add them to invoices from that date and notify you at least 30 days in advance.
• You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you in your own country (for example reverse-charge VAT, withholding tax, or sales/use tax).

• Use the Services for legitimate restaurant recommendations
• Upload accurate menu data, prices, ingredients, allergens, and nutritional information
• Customize branding within the provided tools
• Embed the chat widget on your websites
• Review customer feedback and analytics for your restaurants

You may NOT:

• Use the Services for illegal purposes or violate any laws
• Upload false, misleading, or inaccurate menu, allergen, or nutrition information
• Transmit malicious code or viruses
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
• Reverse engineer or extract source code, or scrape the Services
• Share embed codes or API keys with unauthorized parties
• Spam or send unsolicited communications
• Impersonate others or provide a false business identity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services

• Menu data must be accurate, current, and not misleading
• Allergen information must be correct (critical for customer safety)
• Nutritional data must comply with local regulations
• Content must not infringe intellectual property rights
• Uploaded content must not be offensive or harmful

• The Services use third-party AI models (currently OpenAI).
• You agree not to use the Services in a way that violates the usage policies of those providers. We may limit or suspend features where needed to comply with them.

• For account, billing, team, and security data about you and your team members, we are the data controller. See our Privacy Policy.
• For personal data of your guests that we process through the chat widget on your website, you are the data controller and we are your data processor. Our Data Processing Addendum (https://www.tasteem.com/dpa) applies and forms part of these Terms.
• Guest profiles created by diners through Discover are controlled by us. We do not share guest profiles with restaurants.
• You are responsible for your own privacy notices on your website and for having a legal basis for your own use of data.

• Provide AI recommendations and analytics
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Improve recommendation algorithms (using anonymized or aggregated data)
• Monitor security and prevent fraud
• Communicate service updates
• Comply with legal obligations

• Access: request a copy of your data
• Correction: update inaccurate data in your dashboard
• Deletion: permanently delete your account in account settings. Deletion is irreversible, so export your data first
• Portability: export your data in a machine-readable format at any time
• Objection and consent withdrawal: object to certain processing or withdraw marketing consent at any time

• Active accounts: data is kept while the account exists
• Analytics (plan-based): Starter Bite 30 days, Main Course 60 days, Chef's Special 120 days. Older analytics are automatically deleted
• After account deletion: data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy
• Accounting records: kept for the period required by Romanian law
• Security logs: 1 year

• The Platform, AI algorithms, recommendation engine, and all software are our property
• Our trademarks and branding are protected
• You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Services during your subscription

• You own your restaurant data, menu information, logos, and custom content
• You grant us a license to use your data only to provide the Services
• We may use aggregated, anonymized data for service improvement
• Upon termination, we stop using your data (except where the law requires otherwise)

• Recommendations are suggestions only, not guaranteed outcomes
• You must review AI recommendations before presenting them to customers
• We do not guarantee the accuracy or commercial success of recommendations
• You control which recommendations to display

• Nutritional values calculated by the Platform are based on generic (non-branded) reference data from third-party databases, currently USDA FoodData Central (SR Legacy and Foundation Foods), and on the ingredients, weights, and preparation methods you enter. The Platform does not use brand-specific product data.
• Calculated dish values are estimates. They depend on the accuracy of the data you enter, on how closely the selected database entry matches your actual ingredient and preparation method, and on natural variation in food and cooking (for example moisture and fat changes during frying or boiling). Dishes that use branded or processed products may differ from the generic values.
• Label and nutrition-generation tools are aids only. They are not a certification or a legal compliance check.
• You must review all nutritional, ingredient, and allergen information before publishing or relying on it, and you remain solely responsible for its accuracy and for compliance with applicable laws (for example FDA rules in the US and Regulation (EU) 1169/2011 in the EU).
• We do not verify allergen information. Guests are instructed to confirm allergens and ingredients with restaurant staff.

• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Planned maintenance is communicated in advance when possible
• We are not liable for interruptions beyond our reasonable control

• Token usage limits depend on your plan (tracked daily)
• API rate limits apply to ensure quality for all users
• Restaurant/location limits apply per subscription tier
• Excessive usage may trigger restrictions

• Analytics need sufficient data collection periods
• New restaurants need time to build performance baselines
• Recommendation quality improves with more customer interactions

• Maintain accurate menu data, prices, and availability
• Critical: ensure allergen information is correct and current
• Review and update nutritional information regularly
• Keep restaurant hours and contact information accurate

• Comply with food safety and allergen disclosure regulations
• Follow consumer protection and advertising laws
• Obtain necessary business licenses and permits
• Handle customer data according to privacy laws
• Ensure menu pricing complies with local regulations

• Protect your account credentials and API keys
• Report security incidents immediately
• Monitor team member access regularly
• Only embed codes on authorized websites
• Do not share authentication tokens

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Lost profits or business interruption
• Loss of customers or reputation
• Damages from AI recommendation errors
• Customer dissatisfaction with recommendations

• AI suggestions should not be solely relied upon for business decisions
• You validate recommendations before presenting them to customers
• Customer satisfaction remains your responsibility
• We do not guarantee recommendation success rates

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury.

• Cancel your subscription anytime through account settings or the Stripe customer portal
• The subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• After the billing period ends, premium features are disabled but the account remains accessible
• Your data remains stored (subject to plan-based analytics retention) and you can re-subscribe anytime
• Charges incurred before cancellation remain due

• Delete your account permanently through account settings
• Account deletion is immediate and irreversible
• Export your data BEFORE deletion. Recovery is not possible afterwards
• Outstanding subscription charges remain due even after account deletion

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Fail to pay after notice
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Provide false business information
• Provide allergen, ingredient, or safety information that we reasonably believe is inaccurate and may put health at risk. In this case we may suspend the affected content or your account immediately and without prior notice until the information is corrected.

• Immediate suspension of service access
• A 30-day period to export your data before permanent deletion, except where termination is due to illegal activity or a safety risk
• Outstanding charges remain due
• API keys are immediately deactivated
• We stop processing your data (except where the law requires otherwise)

These Terms are governed by Romanian law.

• Contact customer support first so we can try to resolve the issue.
• Formal actions are brought in the competent Romanian courts.

These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the Data Processing Addendum constitute the complete agreement.

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

Failure to enforce any provision does not waive future enforcement.

• We may assign these Terms, without your further consent, to an affiliate or successor entity, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We will notify you of any such assignment.
• You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent.

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, government actions, network or provider outages).
